Dr. Danijela Ignjatović, a geodetic engineer, holds a Ph.D. in Mining and Geotechnology with a specialization in terrestrial and lunar mining missions. From 2000 to 2003, she managed land cadastre operations at the Republic Geodetic Authority of Serbia. Between 2005 and 2012, she worked as a surveyor engineer in civil engineering construction in France. Since 2014, she has been affiliated with the International Space University (ISU), where she has served as a lecturer, research associate, and project coordinator, overseeing numerous space-related funding initiatives. Since 2020, she has been appointed as an external expert to assist in the evaluation of grant applications, projects, and tenders for the European Commission. In 2025, she became the founder and CEO of CosmodromEdu Consulting, a company dedicated to the development of innovative space education curricula and training programs.

Her expertise includes teaching Earth Observation and GNSS applications, and leading research in space exploration, space mining, and the use of lunar in-situ soil resources for additive manufacturing technologies. Her primary focus lies in the development of innovative off-Earth navigation systems.
